Sourced from two standout sites in Washington’s Horse Heaven Hills AVA within the larger Columbia Valley AVA, this Cabernet blends fruit from Wallula Vineyard and Champoux Vineyard, two places long prized by winemakers for their depth and structure. High above the Columbia River, Wallula sits on the steep, sun-soaked Benches at Wallula, natural terraces carved by the ancient Missoula Floods. Warm days, cool nights, and steady winds help the grapes ripen slowly while preserving freshness. Nearby, Champoux Vineyard’s mature vines grow in well-drained soils of windblown silt and fractured basalt that encourage smaller berries and concentrated flavor. The combination of elevation, river influence, and hardworking soils produces Cabernet with dark, layered fruit, polished tannins, and the kind of structure built to age beautifully.
